自助餐 takes on a whole new meaning in Taipei.
In Singapore, it means buffet where you eat to your fill and pay a fixed price for the meal.
In Taipei, it means dishes with rice where you take your pick (i.e. scoop the dishes yourself) and pay for whatever items and quantity you took.
Its way more environmental and suitable for eaters who find default food portions in Taipei, too big.
