In a good mood

For no apparent reason or maybe, for some reasons, I am in a good mood today.

YQ who just came back from Taipei, smsed me to say she has bought something for me from 九份. Even though I have been to Taipei a grand total of 4 times, I had never been to 九份. Never would I have expected her to buy something for me 'coz we had fun in Taipei together, just a few days back.

A friend who had fallen sick, rang me (actually she rang me while I was in Taipei) to chat. Not that we have much in common (in terms of background). There is age difference of >10 years and we knew each other for only a year. The only common interest would be our love for good food.

Perhaps, the common interest aspect is overrated. Good friends are good friends for many other reasons.

Today, I resolute to go home early to rest but clearly forgotten about it. I am overwhelmed with the idea of spending a weekend back in lovely Singapore.
