If pain from extraction of wisdom tooth is rated 5.5 (on local anesthesia) on a scale of 1 to 10, extraction of black/white heads must be rated 7 and threading is definitely rated 9!
JJ made a reservation for full face waxing for me ('coz I told her I wanted to try out 挽面 at street side stalls in Taipei). It sounded totally painful but I thought since threading cannot be found in Singapore, I might as well do waxing.
The waxer exclaimed at how hairless my face is and told me to expect, a terrible outbreak after the deed (which is totally unnecessary in her opinion) is done. Eventually, I ended up doing threading next door.
It felt as though someone used a blade of razor to shave my whole face (not that I know how that feels). The pain was beyond description.
The threader even told me that I am lucky to be generally hairless, else the pain would be beyond my imagination!
Edit: A number of friends told me how brave I was. Its more like ignorant :P
