Metal teeth in Teochew is ti kee, which also means stubborn.
Being stubborn is one of my character trait. So when anyone suggests anything to me, my instinctive response is to brush off that person.
When KH suggested that I join Friendster, I said no 'coz I am skeptical about anything having something to do with the internet. Eventually, I thought I might as well give it a chance. Things turned out pretty well, as I used it to uncover my primary mates.
Just another day, KH told me to watch "天涯侠医" on channel 8 and I said no! I took a long time to quit television which consumed a significant part of my waking hours.
Today, as I was having my dinner and concussing from my sun overdose, the telly was showing "天涯侠医". I must say I like that show.
On a retrospective note, I think it was KH who urged me to go on ICQ 10 years ago. Well, its passé now but I had fun while it lasted.
