The timing is out! Firstly, our strategy was wrong 'coz we didn't join the optimal category. Secondly, something went wrong during the run as the marshal directed my runner team mate to the 5km route (instead of 2km) which resulted in an additional 200m effort. Thirdly, can I still blame the bike?
Anyway, the timing was better than my first try. Well, both my team mates are guys compared to a female runner I had the last time. Timing has to improve, no? We came in 8th for our category!
Stan's swim timing was 3rd for our category. If only I had maintained the lead or taken over other teams. When it was my turn, we dropped 21st! Thank goodness, my runner made us 8th. By right, cyclists can trim the most timing as their race duration is the longest. Obviously, I didn't contribute much and was destructive towards our ranking.
Its a long way to go before I am anything near being pleased with my timing.
