I spotted Secret DVD (the Jay Chou show) in Jem's car boot, when we were loading the loot. Without hesitation, I jumped at the opportunity to borrow it.
Since today is an energy conservation day (in view of a busy day tomorrow), I decided to stay home. Since I was at home, there were only 2 possibilities.
1. Books
2. Television
There are stacks of unread and half-read books at home and a couple of them belonged to friends. So I have to finish them soon and return to their respective owners. Well, since Secret does not belong to me, I have to finish it soon as well. Excuse.
When it was screening in the cinema, I hesitated to watch it. Just in case its a tragic love story. A number of people have assured me that its not, so I went unprepared today.
My heart nearly stopped at the liquid vapour part and was cursing and swearing at those who lied to me.
I think whether it had a good ending or a sad one depends on how one chose to interpret the film. It somewhat reminded me of "Il Mare". The concept of time travel is often used in plots.
If we remove the element of time travel, it could be viewed as a Spring/Autumn relationship which is a big hoohah. When that element is added, it becomes a witty plot.
After watching, I feel this urge to go take piano lessons.
