I spent a happy night at ST's place, catching up, savouring good food, enjoying myself. I thought I get along better with friends older or my age but ST, YQ and PQ proven this belief otherwise.
There were pretty much to do at ST's place - the yummy buffet, their cute schnauzer (I would have played with him if their place was not filled with guests. Since he is bigger than Mimi, I found him a little intimidating), friends' babies/toddlers (we spent hours gazing at), Serta sheeps (number 9 and 11), nice sweet dessert wine, red wine (which I detest), mahjong (with the couple since I was the last guest)...
This is my fourth meeting with the wise one and once again, he spills words of wisdom upon me. I shall remember them by heart.
The lovely couple invited me for part 2 next Saturday - a steamboat dinner!
After that, it was supper with KH with more wise/funny words from him. I was half awake (due to the red wine) and was constantly yawning. Its crazy to meet friends at 1am and I do intent to kick this bad habit, but, a certain part of me adores staying out late. I especially love the driving part.
A perfect night with long-time friends. Lovely.
