I finally met my target and finished "Wild Swans" (10+ years too late) before February ended.

Its different from my usual reading picks. 1. The background is set in China. 2. It spans a few decades and three generations!

I spent much time reading but didn't read many books, this is a reflection of low efficiency. There's a high stack of books at home, screaming for my attention. Reading is always on my agenda.

I could finally piece stories that my Grandparents and Mum been telling me. I could finally get a glimpse of events in their time. I could finally understand (a small percentage) their anguish.

Stupidly, I told my Mum "鸿" is the Author's Chinese name. She told me its the book title in Chinese. I want to get hold of that book in Chinese, but it may be too emotionally laden for my Mum.
