When there is an occasion, the need to get presents raises the stress level. Under such condition, I usually ended up empty-handed.
Its difficult to live up to expectations and finding presents for the appropriate occasion. I learnt to put off ideal presents I spotted, till the occasion arise. However, I get so excited over the presents idea that I couldn't contain my excitement for long.
This leads to the invention of "presents for no occasion".
PX, SL and YQ were all delightfully surprised by such small gestures. After all, I have been on the receiving ends of their endless kind gestures after so many years of friendship. Its time for me to show some appreciation.
Today, YQ "climbed slopes and braved grass" to get me half a dozen durian puffs from Goodwood Park hotel! I am so caught up with nitty gritty in my life, and didn't even realised the season is here.
