Words travel faster than anything these days, courtesy of handphones and internet.
Scenario 1
characters: A (girl), B (guy), C (girl) and D (girl)
A told B (good friend of A) her secret. B told C (B's gf) whom in turn told D (B, C and D are colleagues). Since A, B, C and D used to be colleagues and for some reasons, D told A she knows the secret. A got quite mad and asked D for the source of information. D betrayed C and so, A linked it back to B.
Me: D has low EQ. Why must she close the loop and tell A she knows the secret?
YQ: C also has low EQ 'coz obviously she shouldn't go around saying what her bf (B) has told her.
Me: B, C and D all have low EQ.
YQ: B chose a gf with low EQ!

Scenario 2
characters: A (girl), B (guy), C (girl), E (girl) and F (girl)
I was at E's place and out of the blue, she asked me about triangular relationship between B, C and F. I acted blur 'coz E doesn't know F that well. E even told me its A who fed her with the gossip. I don't know whether A was seeking revenge on B and C.
YQ suggested that I close the loop by informing F that A has gossiped about her with E. Well, F is a victim and I don't see why I should join the low EQ folks.

Scenario 3
characters: K (girl), Q (girl), A (guy), and D (guy) - A and D are not the same as the 2 scenarios above
K commented to Q that A's friend, D is cute (upon first impression). Since K, Q and A are good friends, Q harmlessly told A. For some reasons, A told D that Q said K mentioned that she finds D cute.
D had dinner with Q and told her that he knows K finds him cute.
Q accidentally told K that A has spilled the beans on K.
Alas! K doesn't want to deny that statement but surely, it would be pretty awkward if K meets D again.
