Go green

I managed to materialise the secret plan I was hatching.

Since my parents were out for their usual exercise routine in the morning, I sneaked off to work on bike! I underestimated my own blurness. I thought there was something wrong with my gears when I felt friction in my rear tyre.

I paddled harder and caused the bicycle chain to loosen. It happened thrice before I realised that the bike pouch was in contact with the rear tyre and I had caused a hole in the pouch!

The route was only 7km but due to massive ongoing construction around that area, I spent much of my energy pushing the bike over kerbs and avoiding fellow cyclists!

The worst was when I sneaked past my office carpark gantry with my boss driving right behind me.

The return trip was less fun, thanks to my night blindness.

Does my tiny step make a difference to this world?

why did the thought of cycling came to your mind in the first place?
