No excuse is ever good enough

When you failed to do something or failed to do it good enough, finding a reason (for yourself) made you feel justified. However, it gets tiring to hear the same (or maybe, different) excuses from yourself all the time. I guess that's why we try to work on our weaknesses and try to improve ourselves.

Since not everyone can be good at everything, so can even save on the excuses/reasons!

The question is, how do we know whether there is (workable, within reach) room for improvement?
