Resuscitation

My heart sank as I went to start up Turtle. There was no response, not even the sound of engine's ignition. My Dad told me that all the car doors are out of order and did not response to the car security lock, but I didn't expect anything else.

As it turned out, my Dad left the headlights on throughout the weekend. The batteries have been drained, so there was nothing wrong with the security lock.

My heart almost stopped. Its like going close to your relative/friend/pet and then, realising he/she/it has stopped breathing and is not responding to you. Such things scare daylight out of me.
