poke the bubble

One of the ways to live through your dream (and come out of it alive, hopefully) is to put words into actions and your dream into reality.

The craving for Suki has spiraled since the thought first crossed my mind. In Shanghai and Taipei, there are restaurants serving one person's portion. I dipped toes and was being stared at, at MK, even without making it a Suki lunch. Generally, folks don't eat alone in Bangkok.

To get round this issue, I ordered home delivery. It was a long struggle on the phone, trying to communicate in my Singaporean English. When it eventually arrived, my vermicelli was missing. I thought the BHT20 was for that, but it turned out to be a delivery cost. The BHT33 (SGD1.50) beef was a serving of 5 slices! I should have suspected, how can quality beef comes at this price?

The killer was the corn (own deduction) stock base which was the last straw. I was expecting soy bean or chicken stock!

Live your dream and let it die a natural death, rather than having someone else trying to kill off your dream (telling you that Suki is not a fabulous meal option).

Now, it might be MK (not Suki). So, going Coca might make my dream coming true. Till the bitter aftertaste dies off.
