Girls Night Out

The luxury of staying a stone throw away from downtown is not always granted, thus seizing this opportunity was the decision.

The kick off for a series of weekend programs was to catch a movie. The unanimous vote was for Sex and The City and prior to that, it was a never ending wait for a Sukiyaki dinner (given up on Suki). Those I tasted in Taipei was much better, then again I was comparing Japanese barbeque to Sukiyaki. Perhaps, Sukiyaki is as overrated as Suki.

The vegetables selection was not fabulous but the beef and pork were. The bulk of the price paid probably went to the meats.

Myth buster: The Thailand national anthem was indeed played (MTV style) before the start of a movie. I probably read this somewhere.

Movie was priced at BHT140 (less than SGD6) and the midnight cab was replaced by a 10 minute walk. Economical.
