If a person managed to win a negotiation with an expert in his/her specialised subject matter, his/her negotiation skills has perhaps, attained a certain level. Otherwise, maybe the expert had given up and lost interest in winning the argument.
I find kick in winning arguments against doctors, convincing them that their medical equipments are not absolutely trustworthy and, I do know my body better than what those measurements read.
I wouldn't try to argue if its a matter of live and death. However, since I made a 1-hour to-fro trip, I refused to be denied of what I set out to do. Plus, I lost a battle last week.
I guess the doctors are irritated with me and probably made notes in my record file!
Anyway, its heartwarming to see the place so filled with eager donors.
